In the exceptional situation caused by Covid-19, the AStA offers financial support to students who are in extreme need in order to mitigate the consequences of the pandemic for individuals.

Unfortunately, there are still no decisions at the political level that would relieve the burden on students. Many of them fall out of the Bafög support and Hartz IV is currently only available to us students on a loan basis.

We therefore see the support of individual fellow students as a necessity until other solutions are found that are currently under discussion.

Our support will be a one-time payment of up to 500,-€ depending on the need. The financial need will be checked during the procedure.

Our emergency funding will be provided in one of the following ways:

1) Contribution to the cost of living.

2) Grant for internet access for participation in online lessons during the creative semester SoSe 2020.

3) Combination of 1 & 2.
