The Landesamt für Einwanderung Berlin (Foreigners' Registration Office: LEA) has announced that British nationals will be included in § 41 (1) of the
Residence Act as of 01.01.2021.
This means that if you have the bititic nationality, you can also enter Germany for long-term residence purposes such as studying, taking up employment or joining your family without a prior visa procedure. You can apply for the required residence title at the LEA after your entry.
